∴ yes \( \sqrt{2} \in A \)

2. B = \{X : X ∈ ℝ, -2 < X < 2\}, is \( \sqrt[3]{-9} \) ∈ B?

B = ]-2, 2[

∵ \( \sqrt[3]{-9} \approx -2.08 \)

∴ no \( \sqrt[3]{-9} \notin B \)
