Eman reads 10 pages in 40 minutes. How much time, in hours, would it take her to read a book of 120 pages if she reads at the same rate?
A) 6 hours

C) 8 hours
D) 9 hours
Let the time needed to read the book in minutes be \( X \)
\[ \frac{120}{X} = \frac{10}{40} \]
\[ X = \frac{120 \times 40}{10} \]
\( X = 480 \) minutes, then the time needed is 8 hours.
